Individual Opportunities:

Team Building Days

You'll get involved in fun activities, improving communication and understanding how your team works together. Team days at Merry-go-round are more than just spending time together though, they allow your team to see how a socially responsible and planet friendly business works first hand.

We can cater to your team's interests and goals. Let us know your ideas and desired outcomes for the team-building day, and we'll work with you to customise the experience to meet your objectives.

We can provide options for full or half days in any of our three venues. We also provide tea, coffee, juice and snacks throughout the day. Our goal is to make every team-building experience unique, accommodating, and aligned with your vision.

Staff Talks

Why not bright up your workday and arrange a staff talk to bring the essence of Merry-go-round directly to your workplace. Invite a MGR team member to share our work and interesting insights into running a community business. It will give your team a closer look at the meaningful work that we do and a deeper understanding of the circular economy and how we are tackling consumerism

Fundraising

Raise funds to help our work by organising fundraising events. Fundraising will not only support our cause but you might also find some hidden talents!

Why not get a team together and take part in an event for Merry-go-round like the Santa run, Kiltwalk or Pram walks. We are registered with JustGiving, so collecting sponsorship is easy!

Match Giving

If your employees raise funds, consider matching their contribution to amplify the impact.

Match giving is a great opportunity to raise impact. When a donation is made, employers can match that donation, effectively doubling the contribution and bolstering support for Merry-go-round.

Yaldi Lottery

Yaldi is Glasgow’s Community Lottery – a weekly lottery that raises money for good causes in Glasgow. Merry-go-round is a registered charity with Yaldi, so you can set up a weekly ticket, or a syndicate for our cause. 60% of each ticket comes to the charity, and you have the chance of winning £25000 or other cool prizes each month!
