Bump to baby Hybrid Antenatal Classes

Welcome to our 4-week Hybrid Antenatal Classes, covering everything from birth to postnatal health & what to expect with your new addition.

Three sessions will be online, with a session for Practical Parenting being in-person at Merry-go-Round. Our practitioners can guide you through all aspects of your journey towards parenthood. If for any reason you can’t make the in-person class, don’t worry, we will make sure you still receive this information.

The classes will last approximately 1 hour on Google Meet and include time for Q&A.

Come join us from the comfort of your sofa, slouchies and get yourself prepped for the arrival of your wee one.

All sessions are in the afternoon (7-8pm)

Course Structure:

Class 1 (online): An hour long class with Midwife and Hypnobirth instructor Rose Donmall-Clark (The Birthing Well), to describe how birth works, how your body changes and to help you through how to make birthing a positive experience.

Class 2 (online): A group session with breastfeeding counsellor Margaret Rowbory to learn the basics on breastfeeding and how to encourage a successful start to your feeding journey.

Class 3 (in-person): In our Events Space at Merry-go-round. This is our opportunity to meet each other and try some practical skills. We want to facilitate your group being in touch outwith the class as a support network once the babies are here - this is the chance to get to know each other as you take this journey together.

Class 4 (online): This session is hosted by Health visitor, Kirsty Milton-Moir. Kirsty gives insight into how to manage your post-natal journey: what to expect for yourselves and your babies.
